Spring 2016 Becker East Gathering - sign-up closed

I should be able to make for those dates, will be just me in a tent wherever I can find a spot to pitch it.

updated the list -- rapidly approaching 40 for Saturday night if everyone on the list actually shows up!
should be a good one!

I just want to know who's bringing Dex & the Boudain?!?
also curious if anyone is traveling more than 800 miles?

Depending on which of three Google Maps suggested routes I take, it could be anywhere between 725 to 822 miles.

Why, is there a special prize for exceeding 800? If so ... just let me know.:D:eek::rolleyes:;)

More than 800 for us. And we have to cross an international border!

Guess the Crown Royal will be flowing in the Tennessee hills.

lol! Did you see that late last year whisky expert Jim Murray named Crown Royal's Northern Harvest Rye as the “World Whisky of the Year?” It's about $30 a bottle. At that price, I picked up a few bottles. Might need to pick up a few more, but it's always sold out.

I would be willing to offer my expertise and experience in personally evaluation of the libations in question. You are coming from Canada after all - I'd hate for us not to capitalize off of that!

I am always moved by our southern neighbours generosity and hospitality.

Just to piggyback here. I will be happy to offer elaborate opinions about any of those fancy Canadian microbrews. I'm a giver. I give.

Yours truly in Southern gentility,
Guyon

I meant to say expertise and experience but only noticed the typo after you quoted me. So, now my indiscretion is memorialized forever - or at least for as long as there is the internet. Maybe I was honing my expertise and expanding my experience whilst typing.

It sounds to me like you've got a helluva lot of experience with Canadian whiskey. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I'll be there. One person, small tent.

good to see you somewhere other than FB!
don't forget to update your location. :)
oh, yeah - E liked the T/M1 parang, so I gave it to him.
