Spring 2016 Becker East Gathering - sign-up closed

ok guys. time for my annual, "i sure would like to make it" post.

as usual, i won't know for sure until we get closer to the event (at which time i will cancel :rolleyes: ).

but seriously, really hoping this is my year! if i do make it, i will be in a tent.

Maybe you should think about contacting some of your Northeast Beckerhead brethren for some carpooling options....

thanks for saying so.

but, it's not about the travel really. i like a good roadtrip. it's more about trying to find the time. i hope to know in the next few weeks. if it looks good, then i will reach out to see who may be on my way south (so to speak).
 
Is anyone bringing tradewater his two cases of Bud Select 55?
 
I thought we should try adding 2 oz of marmite to 5 gallons of carbonated water this time and see if he can tell a difference.

Ain't tore up. You wanna drink that *expletive deleted* then be my guest. Leaves more real beer for the rest.

I did try it, only because trailbum was, um....gracious enough to hand me one at the last Northeast Gathering - during breakfast! - and I needed the can to catch the bacon grease so I wouldn't catch his woods on fire. Though, after chugging the stuff, I could have easily put out a fire....
I will say this: it doesn't taste terrible.....but it doesn't taste like beer, either. Joke's on trailbum, tho: he got stuck with the remainder of the suitcase or whatever that crap comes in.
