Awesome! I've been eyeballing that little knife of yours that Ka-Bar makes. I have some real nice mods I'd like to do to one! (custom scales, parkerized, new sheath, and maybe grind down that swedge a little, lol) Looks like a great little blade and I can't wait to try one out.
 
For those who will be there early Friday morning, I am thinking of getting up early Friday and making a run over to Smoky Mountain Knife Works. It is a bit of a trek and I really don't want to make a shopping trip the focus of my weekend. I will not allow a trip to Smoky Mountain to interfere with catching up with friends at Becker Mountain. I really want to head over that way so I am planning on getting up EARLY Friday to be at the doors at opening. I am planning on walking through the place, maybe 1-2 hours and then driving back. With any luck I'll be back before noon. Just keep it in mind and when the time comes, let me know if you want to go.
 
I plan on stopping @ SMKW on my way in...no idea of the time tho...I'd say noonish, hopefully earlier. I failed to stop in last year...won't make that mistake again!

We hope to be on Becker Mountain early afternoon.

I am more in than out right now. hopefully, things remain that way.
 
I'm going to be out. The house is not market ready and I cant get away right now. Will miss you guys.

and another thing! (always wanted to quote myself). i did buy a case of Heady Topper today to bring down. Aim to try to find more next week. for those in the know, i'm hoping that will help make me tolerable. double-:D

Yeah... Too much family stuff going on that weekend. On the other hand, there is a good chance I will be moving quite a bit closer to Barlow in a few months.
