Many thanks, it's an oddity for sure but quite credible. Thick Stag slabs make for good handling and really snappy! Just cut up a couple of Pears as dessert and it copes well.WowWill Power ! That is a really unique and interesting barlow. I've not seen one like it!!
Regret that , call it a real tragedy but perhaps a craftsman here can replace the spring? Makes me really nervous to open some of my prized Queen knives as they seem paricularly prone to it.Day 8

Jeff I think the reason it looks that way is cause the tip was broken off the blade and reprofiled.David, I think that is the longest long pull when taken as a percentage of the blade's length that I've ever seen.![]()
