Spring into Spring with a "Barlow a Day for Thirty Days"

I’ve always liked the exposed pivot pins on work knives. That is a cool one, Will.
Thanks Paul and a good point- these Workhorse knives can be fixed very easily should play develop and that's really useful. One of my numerous oddities is that I don't like the pin showing through on a conventional bolster, it should be covered not ghosting :D The Workhorse approach though is very pleasing.

I'm not as witty as many of you here....nor do I have a maths bent of mind, numbers are just numbers ;) But seeing all these secret messages and symbols in the No.s thing made me wonder. Here we have Day 22 (for those who can't remember or be bothered with which day it is, you need a slap or a bucket of cold water thrown over you, your choice😂 )

So, 2 GECs 2+2 two 25s 25+25 = 50 half of that is 25, symmetry ;)
The Drop-Point seen already doesn't look like this anymore but the 2 blade Clip Pen does!

Day 20: Happy Tuesday!

I wonder how many of these Camco Barlows Grandpa could have bought for what I paid for these paper towels? Three, maybe? In a few weeks they’ll be gone, but this knife will remain. To my knowledge, Grandpa made it through life without ever buying paper towels.

Wow, another stunning and clever bolster stamp! And love the bone on both of those!!

Thank you and I agree ……. A very clever bolster stamp that Mark designed. 😊

Two stunners Rob. Those Marksharp barlows are some of the coolest barlows around. I love the stamp and the jigging. I haven’t seen him around here for a while, I hope he’s doing well.

Thank you my friend. I’m hoping he found a good woman and doesn’t have time for us Barlowaholics. 🤣

Day 22:
I posted about my grandparents firewood and holder previously. Here's another grandparent special. This bear used to be in their basement on top of the fireplace mantel. I saw it often as I slept in the basement when hunting and fishing with my grandfather. When my grandma was getting rid of stuff from the house, I asked for it. And, she was kind enough to give it to me.

It is HEAVY! Over 15lbs!! I believe solid granite. It now sits above our fireplace and reminds of those days when I was young; sleeping in the basement, grandpa waking me up well before sunrise, putting on thermal underwear, and loading up the truck so we can get out to the deer stand.
