I’ve always liked the exposed pivot pins on work knives. That is a cool one, Will.

Thanks Paul and a good point- these Workhorse knives can be fixed very easily should play develop and that's really useful. One of my numerous oddities is that I don't like the pin showing through on a conventional bolster, it should be covered not ghosting The Workhorse approach though is very pleasing.

The Drop-Point seen already doesn't look like this anymore but the 2 blade Clip Pen does!

I wonder how many of these Camco Barlows Grandpa could have bought for what I paid for these paper towels? Three, maybe? In a few weeks they’ll be gone, but this knife will remain. To my knowledge, Grandpa made it through life without ever buying paper towels.

Day 21 A Schrade Cut Co that I found at a flea market for a couple bucks. It cleaned up pretty well, and after a little work took a nice edge, but still has some old scars from being sharpened on a bench grinder.

Day 22:
I posted about my grandparents firewood and holder previously. Here's another grandparent special. This bear used to be in their basement on top of the fireplace mantel. I saw it often as I slept in the basement when hunting and fishing with my grandfather. When my grandma was getting rid of stuff from the house, I asked for it. And, she was kind enough to give it to me.

It is HEAVY! Over 15lbs!! I believe solid granite. It now sits above our fireplace and reminds of those days when I was young; sleeping in the basement, grandpa waking me up well before sunrise, putting on thermal underwear, and loading up the truck so we can get out to the deer stand.
