Spring into Spring with a "Barlow a Day for Thirty Days"

Day 22
Great minds think alike, sf fanatic sf fanatic . This 15 has a nice heavy pull on it, I don't know why I don't carry it more often.

daye 22.
Suppose I'll add the Imperial (Ireland) Jackmaster hollow bolster Barlow. (on top)
I might keep it in for the duration.

note how an former owner partly drilled the cover on the matching (Prov. R.I.) Jackmaster by the "cover pin". 😡🙄

Oh well. Easy to tell which is witch atta glance without having to look at the tang stamp. 😇👍

I'm not as witty as many of you here....nor do I have a maths bent of mind, numbers are just numbers ;) But seeing all these secret messages and symbols in the No.s thing made me wonder. Here we have Day 22 (for those who can't remember or be bothered with which day it is, you need a slap or a bucket of cold water thrown over you, your choice😂 )

So, 2 GECs 2+2 two 25s 25+25 = 50 half of that is 25, symmetry ;)
The Drop-Point seen already doesn't look like this anymore but the 2 blade Clip Pen does!

Day 22

Happy Two-Blade TEW & Tidioute Tuesday, fellow citizens of Barlowvia! It's a hot one today in sunny south Florida, 82°F and full sun! If these were our summer temperatures, it would be great, unfortunately by the time July rolls around, our temps will be in the high 90s to low 100s and will probably stay that way through November. 🥵

I think this #14 TC Barlow in Purple Sage Natural Bone might be my only two-blade Barlow - what better to pair it with than my only two-blade lambsfoot, an older (and quite robust) Taylor's Eye Witness that I've dubbed "Harvey's Wood-Lotto Lamb"?

I love Barlows (perhaps not as much as Barlowvia's Crown Prince, Mr. P, though) and lambsfeet knives! Put them together and I'm in paradise - I also love Barlow Lambs, but they're rarer than hen's teeth (and outside my current budget 😭)

Hey, maybe y'all can help me out with something... what caliber is that teensy-tiny cartridge loitering near today's barlow again? 🤣

Edit: Sheesh! I almost forgot to sing:

The barlow and the lamb,
the barlow and the lamb,
hi-ho the derry-o,
the barlow and the lamb!

I seen that .22 long rifle projectile before I finished scrolling down to see your Purple Sage. I reckon you read my mind this morning ..... as I posted, I thought ...... I wish I had put a .22 shell in my picture. Two fine looking knives for you today ! ;) 😍🤣

Day 20

Wasted Days and Wasted... wait. What? Almost wasted day, still playing phone tag with several doc offices, and since where I walk has spotty cell reception it was yet another day hanging around the apartment. Yay. Anywhos. Boker Barlow Expedition standing by all day for any slicing or dicing. Not a complete waste of a day. In addition to some other stuff, did some maintenance and mods on three of my Opinels. Used sand paper to remove splintery stuff in the blade wells and slightly round the crisper edges. Used a sanding disc on the rotary tool to do some small easy-opening cuts and cleaned it up with sand paper. Removed the lock ring on the No7 to spread it a bit as it was so tight I couldn't grip the shiny metal enough to lock or unlock. Nothing too extreme, just enough they work much better for me and my hands. I have some stuff to do to the two most recent Case acquisitions, I'll tackle them sometime this week.
