John, you might reconsider this if you lived in a city where the houses are so close together. The noise can be unbearable at times and then some! But I’ll tell you that my friend who lives in north east Oregon off the grid on a large ranch says that they make good eating or at least the eggs.

I’m going to add a bonus pic because my next few days are gonna be crazy at work so I don’t know if I’ll have time to do this comparison at the end of the 30 days. Anyways, I tried my best to duplicate my first picture from the start of this thread. Lighting is a bit different, but you can still see that this knife now has some character after a bit of good pocket time, which was what I wanted to accomplish

Day 29.

Taking pictures before the sun is up and before the family is awake leads to poor lighting. You still get the idea though

You can also tell that spring is arriving as shown in this picture. The first daffodil in our garden has bloomed as of yesterday afternoon!

Case Rogers Jig Navy Blue Bone, same as one of Primble 's prizes. These are sweet little Barlows. I love mine and if I have the chance to win another, I'll gift this one to my nephew. I hope this is the last of the frosty mornings with spring here.
