Spring into Spring with a "Barlow a Day for Thirty Days"

Day XXIX .......... one more day to the finish line. 😊 🍀
A couple more of my New York Knife Company Barlows got the call to duty.
The stag one was re-handled with some really nice stag 🦌 ... when Mark owned that knife.😊

Tom's keeping the records on the cupboard, so don't blame me ! 🤣

** Tom added Way Barney on Tuesday afternoon. * He told Tom he not only carried his Barlow every day, he used it. 🍀

What a great handle that is.

Day 29

For your consideration, my tried-and-true 2022 Remington Granddaddy Barlow alongside the Dreadeye fixed-blade from Tactile Knife Co. and my preferred carry pistol for environments urban, rural, and interstellar alike. 🏛️🏞️👽🛸

Rest up, fellow barlow-philes - big day tomorrow!

Day 30 of 30 tomorrow ! 🍀😊 ............ I've got all the knives boxed up and all they need is names and addresses on them.🍀🍀🍀 I reckon we need to wait a day or two for any stragglers ....... then I will draw the names and tell you guys the three that got🍀.

I'd bet that small 10mm is a handful when discharged ..... a pretty potent round. 🔥😊
It was 25 degrees here this morning and everything had previously bloomed out. My furnace is running now.
That Remington Granddaddy sure looks handsome ! ( My old one came in the mail a day early (today) so it's got the last day.) ;)
Thanks for the fun we've had to you and everyone.😊

Very nice pair and excellent stag. You’ve even got a box to match!

Thank you my friend ....... I was laughing at your prop today ..... not your Barlow.😍

Day 29, Spring St barlow today. Just about time to start bass fishing.

It was the first day of spring today so it seems the Spring Street Barlow was a fine choice !😍
Bass fishing .......... I'll be doing that soon !

Simply amazing Barlows 👏
I fell in love with the NYKC Barlow the first time I saw one posted by Charlie.
I believe you are the one who should win a prize.
So well photographed (as usual) and Mark did a fantastic job on that beautiful stag. 👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing those and great thread 👍

Day 28 & 29: I hope it was a happy Tuesday for y’all!

You know what? I own a handful of Camillus knives and none of them actually say Camillus. LOL! There are a lot of similarities between these two brothers separated by a few decades.

Day 30 !!!

Spring weather was here last week. This week, we are back to winter. Hopefully just for a few more days.

In the past few weeks, I discovered a few things. 1) A thirty-day challenge is more difficult than I originally expected. Carrying a Barlow every day is easy, posting daily, not so easy. 2) Seeing beautiful Barlows is an enjoyable and entertaining pastime. 3) I'm grateful to all who contributed to this thread, and a special thanks to Mr. P for starting and monitoring it. 4) I'm also grateful to the John Primble Belknap HDW & MFG Co for having an influential display in Rob's hometown.

A couple of excited kin folk, all sharpened up and ready to meet the new family member. ;) 😁

Following on from Mr.

Photo here is mine with a 1970/80s British para.

Carrying a 7.62 SLR AND WEARING 1958 PATTERN BELT AND YOKE KIT.

It isnt quite accurate the beret is too red, it should be maroon.
The belt kit has ammo and kidney pouches but is missing a water bottle and a bayonet frog,we often had a field dressing taped to the straps of the yoke as well.

Still it is what it is (I hate that saying). 😆
