Spring into Spring with a "Barlow a Day for Thirty Days"

DAY 30 of a Great Thread . Thanks for doing it Mr. Primble Primble . It has been fun and it gave me something to do .
Of course I have to show my favorite Barlows . My first and only Northfield that I do use and another one that is a Safe Queen . Both from 2015 .

DAY 30... Hate to see it end 🫣 ;) Thanks for a great challenge and thread Rob:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Will end with my most favorite Barlow and one I carried every day for over 13 months:) Not only my favorite Barlow but my most favorite knife I own. 2013 Gabon Ebony Clip/Pen TC, bought directly from Charlie back in the day. Paired with another favorite that was gifted by my friend Joe ( BladeRust BladeRust ) an Albers Lambfoot with Katalox covers...

Day 30 and I too hate to see it end. It was a bit of work but a lot of fun. Thanks Mr. P for putting this together. For my last post I have one of my favorite Barlows and one I know Mr. P is awfully fond of. Say goodbye Marilyn. 😉

Day 30: Happy Wednesday!

Thank you to everyone who participated this month! I learned a lot from your posts and pictures. And thank you to Mr. Primble Primble for running this challenge. It was great motivation to carry and use my only three Barlows that I inherited from my Grandfather instead of just looking at them collecting dust on a shelf. They were made to be used, and it’s obvious that Grandpa did exactly that with this slimmer-than-most Camco. The challenge also gave me a perfect excuse to finally buy a yellow Buck Barlow that I’ve admired for a few years now. :)

Grandpa was a WW II Navy vet and was pretty tickled that my route to the Marine Corps was via the Navy, so here’s one last picture of his Camco with some of my sand from Iwo Jima. I never made it to Iwo, but a friend brought this back for me.

Cross your fingers ..... maybe Marilyn will bring you luck ! 🤞🍀🤣

Knife Number one of three prizes .... in no particular order of draw. - A new in the box Case XX Barlow in nicely jigged Navy Blue bone. I bought one for me and after I got it, decided to buy another one as a challenge prize. Very well made with true navy blue bone, this Barlow is every bit as stout as my 1940-64 red bone Barlow. Bone tight to the bolsters, deeply laser etched bolster logo, centered blades, and stainless steel. It's my feeling that this knife would last someone that maintained it well .... a lifetime. 😊🍀
