Spyderco servers on fire, soon as I went to pay booted out and can't get back in
 
It's the fiasco that I expected but having a separate page load for each step of the process is brutal.
 
Submitted payment, page crashed, took me back to shopping cart and apparently nothing took?
Constant refreshes...
Not repeating the process.
If only 2000 pieces were made, I would like to think Spydercos website could handle twice that in traffic.

Absolutely brutal. I've put in my payment info 5 times and keep getting booted.

ETA Now I got this. I'm out, good to those that have more than forty minutes to waste today.

Same experience here. Able to enter the order but have been "denied" over 10 times already. Tried using 2 different cards. Same result.

Get this weird list of "notices" and then am kicked back to the cart w/the following msg:

An error occured processing your order. DECLINED ::​


Even called one of the credit card companies to find out if problem was on their end. They said they had no record of any attempted transactions or declines. So, problem is entirely on Spydercos end.

Been at this 48 mins so far. Problem must be obvious to Spyderco if no credit card transactions are being completed.

Will hang on a bit longer to see if they can fix it b4 I lose patience entirely.

Their website needs a serious upgrade if they can't handle the volume. I'm not sure how much more time and effort I want to spend, but I don't think it's a lot.
 
Thanks for posting that yours went through. I just tried again and it went through and actually got some work done in the meantime!
 
Success!!!!

After 52 minutes finally got an ORDER COMPLETE msg with an actual order #!!!

Weird thing is that they gave me the OpFocus discount for it and only chgd me $84 for 2 knives -- $150 - $75 discount plus $9 shipping.

I thought these knives were NOT eligible for the discount.

Assume they will contact me to fix this "problem" before they ship them if that's the case.
