Spyderco deep carry titanium clips - for Delica, Endura, Paramilitary 2, Police...

Hi fellas -

Thanks for your interest. I was hoping to have these ready this week but I have fallen behind a bit. I am hoping to have them ready to go by the end of the month. They are in the process of being cut, and I am waiting for a part to do the forming. I will let everyone know the day they are ready.

Thanks again,

Casey

Hi fellas - thanks everyone for your interest and patience.

The waterjet guy yesterday sent the clips to a fabricator who is building me a new forming brake. Hopefully I'll have everything back in a week or so, after which I'll start forming and shipping.

I'm keeping the email of everyone who has sent me an inquiry, so I'll for sure let everyone know when they are ready so mail out.

Thanks again.

Casey

Hey Casey,
Thanks for responding to my email (the one saying I saw an article about your clips on the edgeobserver.com website).
Just emailed you with an order for when production is back up & running :)

Low ride / deep carry 6AL-4V titanium clips. These were designed and fabricated in Washinton State. They'll fit most Spyderco knives with the common 3-hole clip. This includes the PM2, Endura, Delica, Police, Stretch, Gayle Bradley, Szabo, Manix, Native, and quite a few more. It will fit the Domino, though the pinch point of the clip hits the scale's relief cutout partially. A couple guys have liked the fit, and at least one guy thought it wasn't compatible. Fyi. Also note that the pinch point on knives with FRN scales (Delica, Endura, Stretch) is higher with this clip than with the standard OEM Spyderco clip. On the OEM clip, the pinch point is on the smooth Spyderco logo. With these, the pinch point is on the textured part of the scale, so there is more abrasion on the pocket. It will still work, but it will shred your pants quicker.

These are the same clips as in a previous thread, with one small tweak - the large 'access hole' has been reamed out to give some shine against the matte of the rest of the clip. I think it looks pretty cool against the PM2's lanyard hole. Here is the original thread with pics of different knives that guys graciously posted (thanks a lot fellas): http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ry-Delica-Endura-Native-Manix?highlight=casey

Anyways, the clips are $16 each, plus $2 shipping for any amount. I have a number of them left, and only a couple without the logo. The majority have the 'Featherlite' logo, as shown in the above pictures. If you want a plain one, let me know before you paypal. If I don't have any left I'll give you a heads up before you purchase.

These are guaranteed for life, so if they break or get tweaked I'll send you a new one (if I have any) or refund your money, no questions asked.

My paypal is thelastleaf@fastmail.fm

Thanks for looking, and feel free to email or PM any questions.

Hi fellas - thanks for all the emails and posts. I'm keeping track of everyone who has either emailed or posted, so I will be sure to let each of you know when they are ready. The cut blanks shipped Friday from the waterjet cutter to the fabricator who is making me a new brake. Hopefully I'll have everything here in a week or so, after which I'll start forming and shipping. I really appreciate everyone's patience and kind words. Sorry for the delay.

OneShot - I'm hoping to add more styles - like for the Southard - but nothing yet. Sorry. There is a pic on this thread of a clip that was modded to fit a Southard. Pretty ingenious! But it's not made for the screw holes, unfortunately. And such a cool knife.
Ragnerok - Same with the Mili - I love that knife and I'm hoping to do something for it in the future.
IAMANAME and Wallaby - No worries about pre-ordering - I'll set some aside for you guys. Thanks!

And if anyone needs a new t-shirt to wash their car with or use as a seatcover or maybe even wear, I had some designs printed up, for sale here:

Thanks again fellas for checking in.

Casey, I'm sure happy with these clips. Fit nicely on a lot of sypderco blades, and are nice looking with the feather lego. Have a couple left so don't need any more right now but, who knows as long as the price does not, will have to have more.

Thanks fellas, I will put you all on the list and let you know.

The price should be the same as the last run ($16).

I'll keep you posted on the possibility of anodozing as an option. Still working on that one.
