I have decided to start saving up money for one of those.

Can anyone share some stories/pictures of their spydercos? I am very interested in how the knife holds up

Thanks.

Tip: It helps to read a bit more before opening threads.

Then you find things like the Spyderco forum, or the "Who else EDCs a fixed blade?" or "Show us your Bucks" threads.

It is generally frowned upon to start multiple threads in general with similar topics. Although at a bit coarse at times Marcinek is right in saying a little reading and research goes a long way before polling the audience so to speak.

The Endura and Delica are both great knives; similar, yet very different because of the size/ergos. Either is a great knife IMHO.

Yes. Its a common "new guy" thing to:

1) Open threads too often; and/or
2) Open threads that they think no one has ever thought of before...which, often, have been opened and are already active and at dozens if not hundreds of pages.

Often doing those two enough gets people annoyed. Its happened many, many times before. Usually right around the beginning of summer.

But, I should have let him find that out for himself.

Post more, read less!!

The Delica and Endura are very popular knives among people who know knives for many very good reasons. Get which one you think is the better size for you.

Thanks. Also the spyderco forum is literally dead.

But have you even seen the new models being released?... I'd rather the forum section be dead than the company itself.;):D

The EuroEdge & Gayle Bradley Advocate specifically.:cool:

Back on topic; I've owned four E4's and three Delica 4's - you really need to find a bricks and mortar and handle them in person ( or a buddy who has both LOL) to get the best sense of whether you'd like either. Pictures and input from strangers will never give you that insight FWIW.

Thanks for your siggestion. Are you from Czech Republic? ?

Delica is a fantastic EDC knife. It is second only to the Caly3 for my favorites from Spyderco's lineup. The Endura is a great knife too, but a bit larger than my preference for an EDC knife.

Here's a shot that has both a Delica and Endura for comparison...

Some others similar in size (Mini-Grip and Leek):

Very cool, thanks. Beautiful knives

Likely due to that topic having been discussed in the past ad nauseum. Look around that subforum a bit and you'll likely find a wealth, nay, a plethora of useful info.

No! Its because the Spyderco subforum is "literally dead"! :) Subforum's fault!

Nothing to do with what I tried to warn the kid about in this earlier post.. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1401989-Spyderco-Endura4-or-Delica4?p=16159734#post16159734

Well, I tried to help. :o

I'm waiting for the "What knife are you carrying today?" thread from our new young friend. :D
