Not sure what you mean by "honest counterfeit", but there are fake Technos that are not flippers that look very similar to the original.

What you purchased was not a Domino and shouldn't be referred to as such. I cannot believe that seller is still going.

I know this is an old post, but I just bought an all black Southard on the exchange. I haven't received it yet but this thread is paranoia inducing! I know that there is a difference in the bearings between the real and the fake, but are there ways to tell without taking it apart?

I've noticed that on the big river website, there's an outfit called "Red's Gear" that seems to sell a lot of Spydercos. Can anyone confirm if Red's is a legit retailer for Spyderco or not?

Fake Endura ZDP spotted on Amazon, by non Amazon seller. Just search Endura ZDP from Amazon search engine. Easy to tell, the handle is anything but BRG.
