Spyderco Honours Benchmade

Get your facts straight before you start spewing misinformation on this forum...

You constantly talk but have nothing substantive to say

Doesn't take much spatial reasoning to figure out which lock is better.

You think a liner/frame that wears away and is inherently very weak is good. Well you can believe that but back it up. Because it's ridiculous.

It's not 1995. Frame locks are terrible

So. Your previous thread went down the tubes and got shut down because you stated your opinion about this same topic and then said anyone who disagreed with you was stupid. "laughably insane" I believe.

And now you are trying the same schtick in someone else's thread.

Not cool.

I didn't take it down the tubes. Some of you with nothing to say and forcing the mods to shut down the thread did hahaha.

Most of you just go "nooo it's not true" even tho it's very obvious frame/liner locks should no longer be in production becasue they're again terrible locks

You have some nonsensical beliefs

Ergonomics, lock strength, longevity. Axis lock has it all by wide margins over a liner/frame

You don't need a whole lot of brain power to see what is going on here. Shouldn't be that crazy of a statement to any of you.

When the chips were down a liner lock worked for this guy.

Sorry, the comp lock and cbbl are far superior to the axis lock. And I'd take frame and liner locks, or back locks over an axis any day.

I don't own a Benchmade, I honestly don't like the feel of them. And I don't like the axis lock. But man if the crooked river (custom...) doesn't look mighty fine.

Well, I'm glad you think you didn't bring that or this thread down the tubes with your personal insults towards any who disagree with you..

Enjoy your stay at BF.

If you think labeling* something you said as nonsensical is an insult

You don't understand what ad hominem is

Like I said I don't mind insults just pepper them in with something worth saying...lol

Mods might tho

Both frame locks and one of them is 10 years old. Better and locks up more solid than any pics of any axis locks you post up. Wait, you're the one that constantly talks and has nothing substantial to say or nothing constructive to post....

I guess Spyderco has been making the crappy Military with the crappy liner lock for 30 years for nothing huh? Funny, I still have all my digits. Please take your misinformation elsewhere...

Good luck shoving either of those locks into profiles you like

I don't see how this has anything to do with the liner/frame lock being obsolete tho

If you could shove a CBBL into a PM2 we'd have had that long ago.

It's 2019

Yes in 2019 that's terrible

Who would buy that? lol

edit - By 1995 standards I'm sure that was very very nice

The fact you think you can gauge the lock up with your eyes says it all

edit 0 An axis lock may rattle more and have more blade play over time. A "weaker" lock up? How are you defining weaker? lol

Because I assure you there is no scenario where a frame lock is stronger than a properly engaged axis lock. Blade play or no blade play

Just like in a CBBL, that pin is gonna have to rip through teh frame for the lock to fail.

I'll out cut any Benchmade you own with that knife. I got a hundred bucks that says so. Put your money where your mouth is. Put out or get out. You bashing one of the most iconic knife designers here, is going to get you nowhere.
