I really can't believe some of the awesome stuff they are putting out now and in the coming year. They all ready have low priced full on ZDP-189 in production with the Endura and Delica line, a truly awesome large slicer in the BG42 CF Military, a knife unbeatable in the mid sized EDC category in the Caly III, which is soon to be released in an even more refined CF ZDP version, as well as many timeless classics already in the line up.

Now, with the up coming releases I am seeing, I'm extremely pleased to see that they are sticking to what they have perfected and continuing to refine and improve what was already great and release knives that stay true to Spyderco while still bringing new and well needed additions to there line up. I made the Stretch and Super Hawk their own threads, but here I will post even more new models that I am extremely excited about.

Wow, I'm just blown away by how much there is to look forward to.

Watching the path Spyderco is taking compared to their most direct competitor really reaffirms and reminds me why Spyderco is hands down my favorite production company.

Did you ask permission before hotlinking all of those images?

I just find it odd, since these have been covered in at least two threads thus far:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=453944
http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26699

I think it's polite to ask before leeching people's bandwidth.

Also, since he said in the BFC thread:
Thanks for posting this link, I think it will be ok. I'd like to keep my pics on one forum for now. Easier to keep track of that way, when I'm adding new ones.

Did you ask permission before hotlinking all of those images?

Nope. There were no disclaimers on the page requesting they not be linked, and I provided a link to the source. If the guy doesn't want people seeing the images, then the person would have either said something or not put them on the web, logically. Do you go around emailing websites before you link people to anything they have publicly posted for the entire world to see anyway?

EDIT:

I didn't see either of those other two threads, and had just been directed to the images myself recently and thought I'd share with the rest of the BF community as I didn't see anything about the new knives or the new pictures anywhere. All seems a bit anal and really brings down the thread. Linking images, especially one's as significant as these is pretty common and I've never seen this kind of fuss over it before. If this sets the pace for what was supposed to be a thread of joy and praise, then I'll just edit everything out.

I was also blown away when I saw the pictures for the first time.

I've always respected Sal, but seeing these knives - and the way he's plowing
ahead with increasing quality, incorporation of user feedback,
premium steels and innovative design - I really have a new level of respect for the guy, his products, and his company.

Several truly elegant designs. I'd already seen a pic of the Flatbird ... I want it, I want it. :) It looks like it's got the same lock as the Spydercard.

I believe H1 is work-hardened. The more you use it, the stronger the edge gets. This sounds ideal for a chopper.

What is so amazing to me is how all spydercos are so similar, yet so different.
The subtle changes from one model to the next create a perfectly linked chain.

Spyderco Rocks, can't wait to see these!

Spyderco is a company that is always going foreward, getting better. In some ways, the industry has to keep up so everybody gets a better knife, no matter who you buy from. Look at the advancements Spyderco has given us. I see better knives, better steels, more refined engineering and production, and still value for the dollar. Joe

I think I'm going to start a civil action against Spyderco for making me bankrupt and aggravating my hypertension - I want the Citadel, Samaritan, Stretch, Spyderhawk and the Flat Byrd!!! :p

And I haven't even gotten my Endura ZDP, Lum Chinese ZDP, Caly 3 ZDP.

I do hope the build quality is better than the Caly ZDP.

This is mouthwatering!!!! ;)

Sal, are you going to be visiting South East Asia / Australia anytime soon?:p

Thanks for the post. I love all of them. See no problems sharing pics. Isn't that the idea of the internet / BF ?
