The Kershaw Leek is a $40 to $50 knife (yes you can find it for slightly cheaper on Amazon) that is made in the USA and it is vastly superior to Spyderco knives in the same price range.

^ Welcome to BladeForums. What a wonderful contribution.

Suggestion: you could go into tech support, inquire about a Gold Membership (or higher), & make a positive contribution to this forum!

I'm sorry but some harsh truths just needs to be said.

^ I wouldn't go as far was calling your statement a "truth," rather, it's more of an, "opinion!"

An obviously biased one, at that! Would you care to elaborate on your opinion, with facts?

I think that the one who is biased is you.

^ How is inquiring for, clarification & facts, interpreted as being biased? All I asked of you, was to please support your argument, with "FACTS!"

So you think that one thousand posts on a forum makes you an expert regarding anything?

Maybe on forum posting.

Since you joined to bump an ancient thread, you must be new to forum posting. Stick around and read more, post less, and you should be fine.

As far as Spydercos go- I like them and they are of reliable quality and function.

Seriously- is this GBU comment of yours, your "SOLE PURPOSE" for joining BladeForums? Do you actually own any knives? Have you checked out the sales forum, or the knife discussion forums. I'm just curious, if your sole reason for joining was to post this:

"Spyderco knives below $100 these days are just chinese made crap."?

FWIW: speaking from experience, I have owned a couple of Spyderco's Chinese made models (I believe it was a limited run blue Tenacious). The fit & finish quality was just as nice as any of the Golden, Colorado, & Taiwan made Spyderco model's that I've owned- by far one thee sharpest knives that I've had the pleasure of using.

Please list the specific knives that your referring to (or perhaps own), & facts supporting your claims.^

Ok then so which Spyderco knives manufactured in 2015 and sold below $100 aren't chinese made crap?

^ You're the one who joined here, resurrecting a 6 year old thread, & started making disparaging claims...

So instead of you twisting this around, asking member's here to answer "YOUR" questions; how about you, begin supporting your otherwise baseless (BIASED) opinions, with some supporting facts. Please.

Perhaps the sub $100 knives he is speaking of are the forgeries that are coming out of China these days.

I'm still waiting for my question in post #154 to be answered.

I recently bought a Spyderco Spyderfly and was a little surprised at the finishing on the tang pins and the amount of play in the handles--the Spyderflys are made in Golden, CO. That CF Walker looks really bad though!

^HEY, JAY (on page 1):

Do you still have your Smallfly??? :satellite:
