You'll be waiting for quite some time dude......what would you call the person who argues with an obviously biased view point who spends $29.99 and expects Sebenza like quality???
No thank you.

I'm still waiting for my question in post #154 to be answered.

"Ok then so which Spyderco knives manufactured in 2015 and sold below $100 aren't chinese made crap?"

I honestly can't think, or know of any.

Please, do tell us, which specific model's these are. Thank you.

EDIT:
Since we can't seem to be of any assistance to you here, maybe you should consider going on the Spyderco sub-forum, & personally ask, Sal:

So you think that one thousand posts on a forum makes you an expert regarding anything?

Maybe on forum posting.

The man tries to help you, and you stab him in the back with a cheap knife... Tsk tsk!
Get some tact, and have some respect...

Necroposting was unnecessary. I extracted the current discussion. Lets stay on topic, keep it friendly, and avoid aspersions against countries you've decided not to like.

They're actually all made in japan. Only like a handful of chinese spydies, and then their byrd line.

You seem to be insinuating that if its made in china, then its crap. Is that what you're subtely getting at?

While the budget line of Spydercos might not be the prettiest Spyderco knives, they certainly have the fit and finish to be up there among any other knives of similar price. The Seki City knives are also quite affordable and mostly under $100, and those have fantastic F&F too and are pretty to boot.

I smell a troll, but no matter.

Spyderco knives below $100 these days are just chinese made crap.

The Kershaw Leek is a $40 to $50 knife (yes you can find it for slightly cheaper on Amazon) that is made in the USA and it is vastly superior to Spyderco knives in the same price range.

What's funny is that Spyderco's highest end knives are coming out of Taiwan....and they freakin rock.

and you're a troll.

A troll for sure.....but not a very good one. Imagine the uproar over this if he posted in the Spydie sub???
That would've been classic!!
I doubt we'll hear from this tool again IM......I, for one, will miss him greatly!!

He has. That's why I reported this. I don't think you're trolling if you think Spydercos are junk and say so, but when you resurrect a post then walk into Sal's house to yell the same thing? Yeah, that's trolling for sure.

I'm guessing we'll see him again. Just before a large banhammer smacks him on the forehead. ;)

My pingo is a amazing knife nothing cheap about it. Can you tell us why you think they are garbage? Have you owned all these said knives with personal experience to hold up these opinions you have? Not a spyderco fan boy by any means but they do produce great knives. Angin I own a few and have sold ones that weren't for me. But this is a knife forum where we discuss knives so with that lets hear your reasoning not just a blanket statement. As said before and it happens to most new people post less read more and you'll be just fine here.

Hi Mikey!

Might I gently agree to disagree. Uhm, this is Wrong.
1. First off did you know there are some BF members here who are Chinese or Chinese related? So your comment could be interpreted as, well you get the point. Indeed it's kinda bold to simply state that a knife's geographic origin automatically gives it credence inferior to an American made product. This thread should have been started in the political forum and maybe you could have posted some patriotic music to play in the background, hmmm.
2. When you condemn a particular manufacturer or said manufacturer's product, especially in THIS subforum, give some evidence supporting that claim.
"Uh, it's made in CHINA so it's CRAP..."
leaves readers wondering where you were made.
3. And just one more parting thought, there IS a SpyderCo forum here and the Owner of SpyderCo does read and post there, maybe take your complaint there and give an equal opportunity for SpyderCo to answer. You might be pleasantly surprised at what you find out.
4. A note to administration: (If I may be so bold as boldness is the word of the day apparently) I'm surprised that Moderation allowed a
'Kershaw Good / SpyderCo Bad' thread to even exist in GBU. Hmmm. Interesting. I've been having some impure thoughts about my Case Sodbuster. Is this the place to complain about it?
Please advise...

I have been a SC EDC carrying registered SpyderCo collector / ambassador for many years. When I see Gail in April, I will happily relate your concerns to her as you seem unwilling to do so yourself.

Hey Grey!! Our BOLD & BIASED friend did post his views in the Spydie sub forum. These posts he made are his first contributions!!
if these are just the appetizer I can't wait for the main course!!
Keep reading less and posting more and let us know how you really feel Mikey!!!
