"Ok then so which Spyderco knives manufactured in 2015 and sold below $100 aren't chinese made crap?"

So you think that one thousand posts on a forum makes you an expert regarding anything?
Maybe on forum posting.![]()
The man tries to help you, and you stab him in the back with a cheap knife... Tsk tsk!
Get some tact, and have some respect...

Spyderco knives below $100 these days are just chinese made crap.
The Kershaw Leek is a $40 to $50 knife (yes you can find it for slightly cheaper on Amazon) that is made in the USA and it is vastly superior to Spyderco knives in the same price range.

A troll for sure.....but not a very good one. Imagine the uproar over this if he posted in the Spydie sub???
That would've been classic!!
I doubt we'll hear from this tool again IM......I, for one, will miss him greatly!!

My PM2 was just under $100. It is pretty good...

Hi Mikey!
Might I gently agree to disagree. Uhm, this is Wrong.
1. First off did you know there are some BF members here who are Chinese or Chinese related? So your comment could be interpreted as, well you get the point. Indeed it's kinda bold to simply state that a knife's geographic origin automatically gives it credence inferior to an American made product. This thread should have been started in the political forum and maybe you could have posted some patriotic music to play in the background, hmmm.
2. When you condemn a particular manufacturer or said manufacturer's product, especially in THIS subforum, give some evidence supporting that claim.
"Uh, it's made in CHINA so it's CRAP..."
leaves readers wondering where you were made.
3. And just one more parting thought, there IS a SpyderCo forum here and the Owner of SpyderCo does read and post there, maybe take your complaint there and give an equal opportunity for SpyderCo to answer. You might be pleasantly surprised at what you find out.
4. A note to administration: (If I may be so bold as boldness is the word of the day apparently) I'm surprised that Moderation allowed a
'Kershaw Good / SpyderCo Bad' thread to even exist in GBU. Hmmm. Interesting. I've been having some impure thoughts about my Case Sodbuster. Is this the place to complain about it?
Please advise...![]()
I have been a SC EDC carrying registered SpyderCo collector / ambassador for many years. When I see Gail in April, I will happily relate your concerns to her as you seem unwilling to do so yourself.
