Spyderco knives???????

So many discussions move towards where a knife is made and the merits of the various countries. It is tiresome.

To add another 5c, in good ol RSA the labour unions have destroyed any chance of competitiveness. Textile industry was destroyed decades ago, and mining industry is beyond the point of no return. This will result in massive job losses, but the chaps running the unions do not appear to have the workers interests at heart.

Back to Spyderco, the OP must have bought a fake. If a normal person bought a Spydie and didnt like it, such person would sell it or give it away. The fact that it was thrown away points towards fake.

An early responder mentioned the Meerkat in AUS 6. The all stainless D2 & E2 were also released in this steel.
