Spyderco...oooh how I hate you

I've never understood how people can think spyderco's are ugly, it was love at first sight as soon as I saw one, then I loved them even more when I handled one. All other knives look boring to me. (Actually there are 2 spyderco's I don't like the look of, the Poliwog and the Native but all the others are beautiful)

Same here. I remember seeing my first Spydie in the early '90s, way before I really got into knives. That original one stuck in my mind all those years. When I bought my first real folder in 2001, I couldn't find anything as good looking as the Caly Jr., in my mind.

I bought a decorated Sebenza in '04. I thought that I would retire the old Caly then, but I can never get up to it. Right now, both knives share EDC duty. I currently have 7 quality folders, of which 4 of them are Spydies.

I download the annual Benchmade and Spyderco catalogs every year. I usually find 1 good looking Benchmade (usually an Osborne design), and then drool over half the Spyderco line :D
