Spyderco PM2 hype is phasing out....

Just got myself re-hyped by adding some lovely wood to the S35VN :)

That is indeed lovely! Absolutely gorgeous!! What kind of wood is that?

Would look sweet with a low rider clip me thinks.

Really nice wood is about all I can tell you. Luke from Cuscadi sent me pics of wood to choose from, but no info on the wood itself.

I'd say the demand is still as high as ever. And I haven't seen a lot of hype about the PM2. What people say about it is pretty accurate. It's a damn good knife, and it's getting all the praise it deserves.

Yeah, it's good. I now carry a camo satin PM2 in my FRP, and a camo DLC in my waistband. I clip it at my 4:00 just on the Levi's tag. I never feel either one.

I'm glad I got mine (digi/black) before all the hype started. I love my PM2! I don't think it's hype, it really is a very good EDC blade, there are others, but I think the PM2 is in the top ten. It definitely has a permanent place in my rotation.

It would be great if the supply is catching up, I wouldn't mind getting another.

paramilitary 2 for the win. Glad people are finally able to get their hands on this folder, but it isnt just hype that has it flying off shelves or whatever the online equivalent is.

Must you tell the whole world? Now estate4life knows. He's gonna buy all of them. :)

And re-sell them in his ebay store at a profit! :greedy_dollars::greedy_dollars::greedy_dollars::greedy_dollars::greedy_dollars:

My back order would indicate that supply has not yet met demand :)

That's a nice problem for Sal to have on a knife that's been on the market for a while. Impressive.

I appreciated the design and materials, but didn't like the para. The main grip was too small for my hand and it was extremely difficult to close one handed (I know most just fall closed, mine didn't).

Now what I would love to see is a native 5 elongated to around the size of the paramilitary (and maybe a step towards the blade shape of the frn native while retaining the full flat grind.). I would buy (and use) that no matter what.

I'm hoping that they do catch up soon because I really want to get my hands on an all black para :D

I'm glad I have a PM2. But the blade to handle ratio is strange to me. The Stretch zdp-189 is getting all the pocket time. I didn't think that I would like the backlock. But the mid backlock work great one handed, and the knife just seems right to me. If I had a PM2 in zdp-189 my opinion might vary. It is a great steel IMO.
