Spyderco reblades - WIP

I'm confused lol. Are you also customizing the handles too? Whatever you're doing, your attention to detail is amazing.
Thank you!! 🙏👊

Basically I sell the blades via preorder, then the customer sends me the pm2 and any aftermarket components they want installed. I then make and fit the blade to the frame and tune it to all work together with no play (with fully tightened pivot screws into the bushing) but drop shut action.

Not wanting to pull apart a perfectly good Para, it seems the liners are the only parts no so easy to obtain. Maybe a super loaded question but are the liners on Ali worth the effort? I say effort because of the possible/probable dubious quality.

Edit to add, scrolling through again it looks like the original blade is needed to line up the reblade?

No that would be very sketchy to order from Ali for the liners... In fact I wouldn't even work with them as it would likely cause a ton of headaches on my end. But a few other very important components that need to stay OEM are the pivot bushing and the stop pin. Other than that everything can be swapped.

Check out these scales guys... super cool. Apparently made by a guy named Caveman on IG years back (he no longer is in business apparently unfortunately)

Thank you for saving me the trouble, Josh.

In retrospect makes total sense. Besides the thought of cheap guts holding everything together. I've always wondered just how much hand fitting is still required in these modern days of CAD and the like. I know you can get quality from that region but probably not so much from Ali.
