I've already asked a few of you but... which thumb hole do you guys prefer... No right or wrong answer, and you don't have to be planning to buy one to give input. Just trying to figure out what's more esthetically pleasing

The more tapered version is more visually appealing to me. I don't know if it makes a difference in terms of ease of operation or blade integrity.

They're both great ... I like the first one better for the Shaman but the 2nd is more original and would be more of a REK signature.

Was trying to be disciplined but I guess I'm gonna have to buy a Shaman now

Now that've seen the tapered hote, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it with an oval opening hole, even if functionally more effective.
