I wasn't sure about the blue but it actually looks good in person, im indifferent about the blade finishIf some one does a run with the original stonewashed blade and handles I'll jump on it. Just not digging the knifejoy example.

Right. And dealers can notice it and there is exactly zero that they can do to stop it - they are making their cut. Plenty more Bowies will be coming, and those who paid way over might might care, or maybe they won't. Love that Knifejoy took on this project and I imagine that we are going to see a whole lot more from them in the future. Why does anyone care what someone asks for something that they own?
Not everyone. I STRONGLY prefer RIL locks without any interface insert. KeepItSimple wherever possible. I have and love a Large Inkosi, but I disagree that making the blade the wear-n-tear item is a good idea. Like muffler store lifetime brake pads that wear the rotor instead of the pad.My apologies so many folks have said they want the same steel lockbar insert as other Spyderco models.
Yes everyone loves features the new ceramic ball has brought.
I have the Slysz Spidiechef with no lock insert and it's great. No stick no problems. Not everyone. I STRONGLY prefer RIL locks without any interface insert. KeepItSimple wherever possible. I would like the SHF better if it did, personally, and that's a factor in why I don't own any SHFs or CRKs.The Spartan SHF is as expensive or more and I haven't heard any complaints about its lack of lockbar insert. Same with Sebenza 21s, Medfords, some Reate OEMs, and probably others that I can't think of right now.
Yes, it is a hardened lock face.Am I correct that the SB's lock face is hardened and someone even suggested that the blade tang will be worn out first? If both are correct, then it should not be a problem that SB does not have a steel lockbar insert.
You didn't see the one going for $4k?So finally this SB showed up today in the Exchange? $200-$250 mark up is actually not too bad compared to the ebay $1,000 price tag plus shipping.
LOL, well the seller is nothing if not optimistic. That particular auction has more watchers than any other for the Knifejoy SB. I guess people just love to watch a crash & burn. You didn't see the one going for $4k?
Well the lister posted on another site stating it was intended as a joke, but if someone wanted to pay the $ so be it. Made me chuckle.LOL, well the seller is nothing if not optimistic. Sucks to see fellow blade forum members "asking" $200-$250 over, But that's the way it works. So finally this SB showed up today in the Exchange? $200-$250 mark up is actually not too bad compared to the ebay $1,000 price tag plus shipping.
I heard it was a joke too!Well the lister posted on another site stating it was intended as a joke, but if someone wanted to pay the $ so be it. Made me chuckle.
