And just for the record, mine should be delivered soon. It's ugly in a good way. The designer is legend and at the very least it is a nice departure from the usual. I'm not too hung up on price. When you look at Kingdom Armory's originals and the price they charge, this is actually a bargain by comparison. However, I will probably still poke fun of it no matter what. So relax snowflakes.

Man, people still butt hurt about a knife. Come on guys, there's way more important stuff to be raging against. If people like the knife let them. It's not going to hurt you to let people enjoy things, unless you are one of those people who get enjoyment out of complaining about what other people spend their money on.
You bought one, didn’t you? 😂

It's not about self importance it's about economics, unlike you, I'm happy for you that you have $420.00 to blow on a mass produced 2" ugly pocket knife, thumbs up all the way brother.
I thought the “pocket cleaver craze” died out a
few years ago. Looks like it’s making a comeback. I don’t know what I’d even do with the thing except use it as a paperweight.

I missed that so I guess I just wanted to punish myself. I'm not sure what I'll use it for either but I'm leaning towards comedy if only to annoy the sycophants. I've become quite talented at Photoshop lately. Or maybe loan it to Shabazz so he can snap out of the boring youtube stuff he's been posting lately. Stovepipe vs Z Hunter perhaps?

It makes a big difference, though. I saw this knife, thought "What the figgity?", moved on, bought a Yojumbo, and now I see the great utility of that blade style. I can hardly stomach THAT price tag.
Yep, knives need to be stabby. Cleavers are for breaking down tendons and bones in meat. What am I supposed to do with a cleaver meant for a smurf?

Some others may be “butt hurt”, I’m personally not “butt hurt” or really upset at all. I LOVE Spyderco and their knives. My original post and question was centered on asking if price was justified for what the knife actually is and have there been other Spyderco titanium framelocks at the $450 price point. Just wanted to have a discussion around these questions, it is a knife forum…..

The price is beyond optimistic, but it's weird to see a bunch of so-called knife enthusiasts act like a knife is either a stabbing weapon or trash

Yeah, that’s kinda the point of a knife.. to stab things and to cut them.

Kitchen cleavers are large and heavy for their intended purpose.

Imagine if I shrunk an axe to the size of a pen. Would you carry around the mini axe in your hand and marvel at all the twigs and kindling your newfound axe could cut? Of course not.

Pocket cleavers are a novelty. They take away one of the core functions of a knife for the sake of Instagram appeal.

So you can get on here and bark all you like about how no one is allowed to make fun of the knives you like.. and I’ll just laugh. Discussion doesn’t thrive under attempted censorship.

Knives you can't stab anything with are just terrible.
