Yeah it's weird. Literally nothing else in the world has gotten more expensive except for this one knife that no one seems to like or want.

Its actually growing on me. As far a price goes it is steep. But we know as soon as its discontinued it will be going for $600+ and everyone will wish they had gotten it for 450

FWIW, the Stovepipe is featured in the January 2022 issue of the Spydero Byte, which you can find HERE.

Still not for me but the article/video about the knife were interesting to read/watch.

No doubt it's one of those Spyderco designs that people will either love or hate but it's the type of "unconventional" knife that Spyderco is willing to make that IMO makes the company great, even if I don't like it myself.

I personally don’t like it and wouldn’t pay $100 for it, that’s simply personal preference. Nothing against Spyderco at all. Just a knife that I have no interest in but others might. If someone else likes them, then have at it.

I agree with you. I don’t think it will sell well for a small knife at that price point. It will be discounted rather quickly. 8 months later everyone will decide they have to have one and 420 will seem a cheap price. A lot of this prediction will depend on what the wise people on YouTube have to say about it.

I decided to head to the Factory Outlet to check this knife out. I left with a new Stovepipe and an armload of swag.

I can't say enough good things about the way Spyderco does stuff.

This knife displays all the fantastic attributes associated with the Taichung models. Lovely fit and finish and the action is superb. I actually like it enough so far to consider getting a backup while the getting is good.
