Spyderco Stovepipe $420?????

Price increases are already in effect. The Swayback is now $313 at dealers. Word is CRK is gonna bump up some models $50
 
I don't get all the whining and frustration over this ugly ass tacticlol folder and the price asked.

I wouldn't piss on it if it were on fire.

I love Sal and Spyderco But this one and the pickle really got me confused. I surely don't appreciate the annually price increase of Spyderco.

Still not for me but the article/video about the knife were interesting to read/watch.

No doubt it's one of those Spyderco designs that people will either love or hate but it's the type of "unconventional" knife that Spyderco is willing to make that IMO makes the company great, even if I don't like it myself.

Ix-nay on the Ovepipe-stay. It doesn't appeal to me regardless of the price.
 
I personally don’t like it and wouldn’t pay $100 for it, that’s simply personal preference. Nothing against Spyderco at all. Just a knife that I have no interest in but others might. If someone else likes them, then have at it.

I agree with you. I don’t think it will sell well for a small knife at that price point. It will be discounted rather quickly. 8 months later everyone will decide they have to have one and 420 will seem a cheap price. A lot of this prediction will depend on what the wise people on YouTube have to say about it.
 
Wow I wish I was as forgiving as you all,I thought I got taken to the cleaners on my smkw exclusive para 2's for 199 ea. , I'm over my devotion to Spyderco,...kizer, civivi, artisan cutlery,cjrb...have been getting 90% of my business last couple of years

I decided to head to the Factory Outlet to check this knife out. I left with a new Stovepipe and an armload of swag.

I can't say enough good things about the way Spyderco does stuff.

This knife displays all the fantastic attributes associated with the Taichung models. Lovely fit and finish and the action is superb. I actually like it enough so far to consider getting a backup while the getting is good.
