Spyderco warranty ?

Hi John,

We'll get it sorted. I just contacted Charlynn yesterday which is how we're looking for your knife. That's when she told me about the parts issue. today and I think she's off this SAT & SUN (we're rotating shifts and hours due to the virus). So I won't know anything until Monday. Email a way for Charlynn to reach you other than the forum. (SGlesser@Spyderco.com).

Outstanding service as always. Time zones vary widely but for me, this was an hour ago on a Saturday night. That is a response from the inventor/designer/founder of the company.

Seen it time and again.

I'd have been happy with just Spyderco's top quality knives, innovative new designs, and constant drive to make even good products even better.

Then Sal chimes in on this thread and handles things perfectly. I've seen him do this over and over in other discussions, too.

At this point, I guess my only choice is to become a life long customer! :thumbsup:

It's what brought me over to Spyderco from just about every other brand. Also the manner in which he interacts with customers to commission knives/steel combos that people actually want!
 
I agree, DA170 DA170 . I forget the exact wording, but I saw a quote from Sal that was something to the effect of "I have been accused of designing in the dark."

That may be true, but he sure doesn't keep his customers in the dark. I don't think another company like that exists.

You made a good choice with the Shaman, OP. It sounds like you're on your way to getting it back in great condition.
 
Sal is the best. I want to go buy another spyderco now. Really want a shaman, and been wanting to check one out but st nicks seems to be out right now. Waiting patiently... Lol

One thing I would like to see is an m4/jade G10 native chief... :eek:
