I agree.

Right now I'm really digging the Manix 2, thinking this is my favorite.

Although, this is subject to change without notice. :)
 
My current faves (out of almost 40, and having examined many more):

- fave relatively compact EDC Spydie: Caly 3, any version
- fave midsize EDC Spydie: Stretch 2, preferably the CF one but all are nice
- fave big Spydie: Military
- fave ethnic Spydie: Chokwe
- fave fixed blade Spydie: Moran drop point (so deliciously light and well balanced)
- fave workhorse Spydie: original big Manix

The Military is something special. Very light, extremely strong(nested liners), ergonomic, rides very well in pocket (slim), thick 4mm blade of good steel/HT, and cuts like a beast with the negative blade angle. If you're looking for a bigger folder to handle almost anything, that would get my vote.

The Bradley looks extremely tempting with that M4 and price, but it's much fatter and less refined in my eyes. The lock face of the blade is exposed when closed, and the nested liners come to mind. I'm still drooling to get one, but the Military just screams utility.

Manix 2 and any of the Sages have also treated me great. It's hard to go wrong with any of Spydercos line, they're all first class knives that won't let you down. :thumbup:

Are there better ones if you have a specific task in mind? Sure. The Military handles (for me) the widest array of tasks with ease while not compromising on length, ergos, or weight.

"Holy Grail" is a different story. For that I would go with the C27 Jess Horn.

That is truth... The more knives Spyderco makes the more "favorite" knives I end up with...
 
How about a different (sorry) slice on the question?

Anything in CPM-M4 or CPM-S90V, so:

S90V/CF Military, Manix 2 and Paramilitary 2 and S90V Mule
CPM-M4/Ti/G10 Mlitary and CPM-M4/CF Gayle Bradley and CPM-M4 Mule

I have the S90V versions of both :)
 
Another vote for the Military here, especially the M4 With the framelock and g10.
 
Spyderco makes a knives besides the military :eek: ;)

Perfect size, very usable blade shape, bank vault lock up, gets hair popping sharp, handle feels like it belongs in my hand, love the wire clip, and on and on.
