SpyderPunk - Use caution

As you may know The Spyderco Temperence is stalled again.

It was last sent to Spyder Punk. SP hasn't been around for some months. There are some possibillities:

A) Knife waiting at the PO and not delivered. (This is happening at another PO for another passaround)

B) Knife delivered but has been forgotten about.

C) It's been ripped off.

I'm not ready to jump to C yet, but if there's any one that lives in Pensacola, FL and would like to check out the address and see if it's legit let me know.

I'm trying to get confirmation it was delivered.

By the looks of it, Spyder Punk has conducted a few trades this month, I would try e-mailing the people that responded to his posts in the exhange, (he cut a few deals) and see if they still have record of where they sent funds/goods.
 
The last time he posted on the Spyderco.com site was 23 DEC.There is a person there now that has a profile that say he is from Pensacola.
 
I've always hated this person, from the start when he came to the Spyderco.com forum he was a major TROLL and then for some strange reason people forgave some hellish troll behavior. I'd stay away from this individual like the plague. After all he call's himself a PUNK and I'd bet he's right.
 
I don't want to pile on but ..... he's the only BF member on my ignore list! Hopefully he'll come forward and clear things up. I guess I'll have to take him off the ignore list to find out:confused:
 
I have a phone # now. He got a call about it, though not from me. So we're in contact. Will keep people informed.

UPDATE: Spyderpunk got ahold of me and says he plans to retieve the temperence and send ot back to me directly. I'll let you all know how it work out.
 
I talk to him sometimes online, he is not someone I would do a trade with at all, he never responds to my IMs or anything. Stay away.
 
Still no knife from SPyderPunk, I'll probably start phone calls and ask that he be banned.
 
He couldn't even afford batteries for his flashlight why the heck would he be part of a pass around if it wasn't to rip someone off? As always I'm disapointed in his actions as I was the first flacky day he emailed me and beg me for my sure fire, oh yea the reason I wouldn't trade him is because I don't except stolen video games as payment.Come back in 5 or 10 years when you grow up and become SpyderMan and not SpyderPunk!
 
OK I gave him a call, the female that answered the phone assured me she would have him send it back this weekend.
 
Alright guys, Im really sorry for everything that has happened, I know that I was wrong in this situation, and understand why you guys would like to ban me. I would like you to give me another chance, I will defenintly change my behaviors. Im sorry for being a jerk in the past in my dealings with people I guess its cause Im young or whatever but thats not even a good excuse. I am sending the knife out tomorow for sure, I would have sent it out earlier but I was broke, next time I wont participate in any passaround unless I can be sure to make a payment, that is, if you guys would let me. I have never participated in a passaround before, so I dont know if people email others before they ship, but if they do, I didnt get an email from anyone, and if one was sent, it was somehow lost, not blaming anyone though, prolly my fault. Anyways, sorry guys, Ill be more considerate next time, and try to pay more attention to the boards, as I just read this post. I havent been around at all because i have just started school again, and im trying to get a job, and CHEF thanks for the kind words, you sure do know how to make a kid feel good about himself, they werent stolen, and if i was that kinda person to rip someone off then why would i have done some trades and everything go threw perfect? im not here to rip anyone off or start anything, if i was i wouldnt have stuck around so long. Raden, hate me if you want, if your a hateful person then so be it but ive never done anything to you or anyone else. im sorry. Thanks
 
Well as long as the knife gets back to DaveH I don't feel there should be a need for you to be banned. As far as your youth reflected in your actions and passarounds, I wouldn't imagine that should be a problem with the next passaround your involved with, as you will be many years older before I imagine you'll be allowed to participate. Don't let that dissuade you from participating on the forums though. Just get your sh-t together and I am sure all will be forgiven eventually.

(Edited to Add) By the way, just to give you an idea on how I view my responsibility to passarounds. I have two passaround knives in my possession right now. I received them both last Thursday. They are 1 week evals on these, meaning tomorrow will be 7 days. My wife is canceling an afternoon doctor’s appointment to make sure she is home to watch my son and so I will have a vehicle to go to the post office to get them sent out.
 
Spyderboy dont lay that CRAP on me, you want to talk about making someone feel bad about themself take a good look in the mirror and you'll get a look at a boy that made me feel bad about myself! I had many conversations with you via email and I talked to you like I would my own son or daughter. I told you to play it straight from start to finish. I told you how to respect yourself by respecting others and I even told you I would gladley send you batteries for your flashlight so you wouldn't have to lie about the condition of your's to sell it. You told me you understood and you where going to play ball the right way. You didn't!!!! We were all young and we all screwed up but we didn't grow up with a place like this at our disposal. This is a playing field for MEN & WOMEN not children. I don't give to craps if your 15 years old or 50 years old when your on the other end of my computer screen and you want my trust and respect then you better act like a 50 year old and show some respect and trust. I DONT trust you and I dont want you here until you can play the game like an adult. You young man are not ready for the responsibility and priviledge of our trust and you have shown it in your actions as well as your email's and interactions with members.I do not appriciate you using this family for your childish pranks and thievery. Good job with the appology, I say we give him another chance, as for what master chef said to you, take it in, I think he had some good things to say, dont take it the wrong way.

You have one chance to redeem yourself.

Please make sure you ship the knife as you promised. This will go a long way in people regaining your trust. Don't make excuses; keep your word. Your word is going to be very important to you later in life, as relationships, both personal, and business, are built. Your reputation depends on it here as well, as you can plainly see.

If you fail to keep your word this time, you will be banned.

No second chances.

I hope you fully understand the gravity of this.
 
On a positive note, communications seemed to work much better after I got a phone number, which is why I asked for them now on passarounds.

I had been sending email to spyderpunk especially a couple of weeks before you received the knife to let you know it was coming, but I never got a reply. I'm sorry it took 5 months to get to you, there have been several along the way that where not prompt in sending it to the next person. It really impacts people later in line.

I think it is a little premature to talk about banning, even though I brought it up. As Cougar pointed out to me, all we are really talking about is being a little late to ship.
