Funny, I wonder if SRM makes knives for all the companies they copy? In that would case would it stand to reason that they may have some rights (given by the companies they make knives for) to make a certain number of their interpretation of each model?

Agreed. But I do wonder who came first in some cases. For example, the Enlan EL-01 was already well known, and then Boker added it to its catalogue with their own name on it.
