The 2022 Gateway Area Knife Club knife show is almost here! This year we have a new venue and new show dates.

Gateway Area Knife Club Annual Cutlery Fair

WHEN:
SATURDAY, AUGUST 27th - 9 AM TO 5 PM

SUNDAY, AUGUST 28th - 9 AM TO 3 PM

WHERE:
HOLIDAY INN S.W. SUNSET HILLS
10709 WATSON RD. (ROUTE 66)
ST. LOUIS, MO 63127

WHAT:
120 Tables knives, including antique, factory and 35 custom makers.
$ 5.00 Entry Fee (includes both days)
Military & First Responders are FREE
Individuals 14 & Under are FREE
Parking is free, ample, secure and on site

We have a block of hotel rooms available at a discounted price.
The group room rate is $115 per night, totaling $135.81 after state and occupancy tax.

Guest can make reservations over the phone by calling 314-821-6600 and selecting "0" to speak to an in-house front desk agent. Mention “Gateway Area Knife Club”.

MISCELLANEOUS:
There are SEVERAL restaurants in the immediate area. There are also quite a few gas stations and additional hotels in the immediate area.
There will also be a handful of makers that were featured on Forged In Fire.

Thanks for the info. I will return to my home in St. Louis early August after 20 months working in the southwest US. My home is only 4 miles away from the venue. May just have to show up and enjoy the event. Thanks.

Thank you very much! Our show is one of the last “big” shows left in the area. We are trying our best to maintain a consistent and quality show.
 
I usually attend but not sure if I'll make it this year or not. It will probably be a last minute decision if I do.
 
I'm considering making the drive for this, it's about 5 hours. Maybe take a train. Been more than 10 years since I've been to St. Louis. One of my oldest friends lives there. Would be good to visit.

I wish it were the following weekend. It's a lot of driving for 2 days.
 
I'm coming! Just going to take the train. Since it's at a hotel, I'll just stay there and not worry about needing a car.

If you take Amtrak to the Kirkwood, Missouri Station, you’ll literally be less than 2 miles from the hotel where the show is located. I’m glad you’re able to make it!

Yes, exit the station and walk south on Kirkwood Rd. (Hwy 61/67 Lindbergh Blvd.). Go under I-44 and hotel is on the right at the corner of Watson Rd. About a 2 mile walk. Safe and low crime area, so I wouldn't worry about that.
 
Sure. I am 50/50 on showing up for this. I am moving back to my home just down the road after 2 years in AZ. Lot of chores to do beginning early August. I will try to make time to attend. Keep me in the loop, and thanks.
 
I live in Arnold, so it’s 10 minute drive for me.
I guess the closer it gets we can figure something out. I promise I won’t follow you around like a lost puppy. 🤣🤣
