Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

I've been carrying only one stag knife this week, a Schrade-Wostenholm I*XL canoe that I won in a GAW here (thanks, cchu518 cchu518 ).

A remarkable coincidence: after winning the GAW, when the knife arrived, I discovered that the serial number on its bolster is my birthday in DDMM format!

I've always admired that one Gary. Nice knife, history, and cool serial number for a numbers guy. The GAW when to the right person.

Thanks, Dave. :) My I*XL canoe also intrigues me because of its asymmetry regarding the liners; I assume that's the method selected to get the blades to fit properly.

Who made the tip bolster stag knife you showed yesterday? I'm seeing "REPCAT" or "REPEAT" on the tang stamp, but that's not ringing any bells for me.

Interesting details Gary, very cool 😎

The tang is very difficult to read and the other 2 on this tiny whittler are worse.
REPEAT NEEDHAM BROTHERS SHEFFIELD
