• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

    Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Brand new today :D
The action was sluggish. Blasted it with WD40 and worked it a few times and now the action is smooth with nice solid lockup. Typical CSC Pinch action :thumbsup: A little corrosion inside. Nothing serious. I don't think it ever saw oil 😟
The blade isn't even close to centered, but...eh shrug.png
One small crack that doesn't seem to go anywhere and isn't at a pin hole. Overall another nice Pinch lockback:)

I love the way these old, Stag knives were finished!! The Antler handles just "fill the frame!!"
From the top;
>I*XL Wostenholm small congress (4 blade)
>Needham Brothers Farm Knife (3 blade utility)
>Taylor Eye Witness (2-blade English jack)
>Harrington (English Jack, Germany) (a good imitation of Stag, with Jigged Bone) 😁 Called "Stag" in the old days

What Else

waynorth waynorth Fantastic line-up of The Old School, Charlie :cool: That big Harrington lockback certainly had very complex/random jigging which at first glance could look like Stag, especially when agéd . What skill and such a quality of Stag and fitment after all these decades. Fact is, Stag is really durable stuff - it can take changes in humidity in its stride, is more 'elastic' or springy than bone thus resists cracking or being dropped better and mellows so satisfyingly! Not that bone is bad either:D

Thanks, Will
