Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

I grabbed this #92 when it dropped, but unfortunately lost the tube when I was going through a serious health battle. I love it, but don’t carry it because it’s just too pretty and I’m afraid that I’ll mess it up. I suppose without the tube, it’s not as big of a deal. It’s got thin scales, but both sides have a fat butt, making it very comfortable in hand!

And who doesn’t love a fat butt, eh? :)

Looks tailor-made, bespoke for carry to my mind. Stag is very resilient stuff, you can't really mess it up, if anything, improves with age and handling. The only fear is losing it...which can happen my GEC83 Stag is MIA since April...but the reward of carrying and using a great knife outweighs all that- it's just a possession in the end :)

You say you've lost the tube, well there you are, carry is a must - send it here and I'll run it in for you

I have heard it said that GEC will replace lost tubes but I don't know if this is true or just some verbiage that gets repeated on the internet? Worth looking into mind.

Thank you Will! Yes, I believe that you are right about carrying and using it. It’s the only GEC I have that I haven’t carried so far.
As far as the missing tube- I’m over it! Who am I kidding anyway 🤣 The tubes are nice to look at, but I’m not going to be selling it!
The patina starts today! Thanks Will!👍🏻

If I had 61 cents for every time I ogled the stag on this 78 I'd be able to buy several bricks of .22 caliber ammo. 🤔 ;)
