I just recently added this one to the collection. GEC model 48 Traditional Trapper in 440C and elk stag, very nicely matched.

Absolutely stunning shots guys... man our Bladeforum could really put together a fantastic virtual album!
Boggs, those two Fixed blades are jaw droppers-just beautiful!

P the UNXLD looks like it is growing out of that branch! Like Mistletoe on Apple ;) Beautiful colours in that shot almost Impressionist.

Jim, those Kelly knives are remarkably special. Wonder if he uses old stag from carving sets? Whatever, marvellous gnarl texture on them.

Thanks, Will

Thanks! This time of year, late afternoon light, nature does all the heavy lifting. Point and shoot, indeed.

Helps to have a beautiful subject as well. :)

Charles, that Stag Barehead Jack is just superb! Wow - what a wonderful knife-I always enjoy greatly looking at your knives, I think your collection is simply stunning-thank you so much for sharing with us.

Yes, chuko has some of the most interesting looking knives that can be seen on the internet! A real connoisseur I'd say:thumbup:

Thanks, W

Kris,

All different types of stag on view there, impressive variation, but that Damascus Rat-Tail bolster is another level!

Regards, Will

Thank you Will, that was made by the one and only Jerry Halfrich and is Damasteel powdered damascus from Sweden, very fine steel.
