Correct me if I'm wrong. But isn't referring to the steel as RAT's 1905 or RAT's potential 440c a bit of a misnomer. As far as I know, Rowen makes and heat treats the steel. Before Rowen it was Ontario. RAT designs the knives to their spec and establishes the quality they want at the price they want.
So it's Rowens 1095 or 440c you like so much.
