I like the shape of the medium chopper better than the light chopper, but it’s mainly for aesthetic reasons.

I agree with you. I love my cpk that have themI think the large finger choil on CPK knives is one of their best design features. If you want to do fine work with a big blade this feature lets you control the large knife at the balance point.
