Starmate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Pwet,

We've done some experimenting with this concept in the past and Eric is considering the application in a future design. It had limitations in the number of holes (for a 4 way clip) and the space required between holes.

Hi Sal,

Any new word on the Starmate development? I don't know how long I can hold my breath for this update.:D

Thanks,

I will want to pick up a couple of them as well. Even if they're only PE...Bet they'll sell really quickly!

Please add my name to the list of members requesting an ETA date for this one. I even emailed "my" knife shops to let them set a few aside for me ;).

Will CE be an option? If so, this will be my next work-EDC.

Has to retire my D'Allara finally...the clip support in the scales got torqued around from snags...right now I'm getting by with a Manix 2 CE, so no worries.

Been almost a month since my last post and haven't heard any new news on the Starmate. Hoping this really happens.

Well since I haven't heard anything and after comparing the new Emerson Journeyman's blade shape to the older Starmate and Terzuola ATCF I've decided to buy the Journeyman. The blade length is "my" perfect length and handle ergos look pretty darn good too.

Sal, I didn't see the Starmate listed as a sprint run in the 2012 catalog. Any hope of it being ready for 2012, or will it be a sprint run in 2013?

We'll be making the knife in Seki. It will be a little different from the first run. We plan to add skeletonized liners and make it a 4 way clip.
