The Lum is assisted as well. Makes one wonder how fast that huge blade will actually open. Could just flip out of your hand!

On the 790 I wonder how they took a framelock design and made it into an A/O? Have to see one of those. On the 741 the conversation is how and what the clip looks like on it, assuming being Axis-based it would normally be tip up. With the curved handle if it IS tip up the clip must have a curve to it as well.

We shall see on both of these what's so soon enough.

I also see the LUM is NOT an A/O according to the buzz on the Benchmade Forum.

The assisted opener doesn't bother me, but I wish it came with dual thumbstuds.

no thanks , I already have sebenza , plus I am not impressed with nitrous A/O . but I will get new Lum for sure.

more yawns from me. Whats the deal with BMs coming out with lots of AOs all of a sudden?

AO with s thumbhole and axis is ridiculous.

I think there cool knives . If you don't like em don't buy them. I will be buying a 790 making it a manual open. The 741 is not a AO its a manual open . There are alot of knives to choose from . Benchmade , Spyderco, Kershaw and lots more....

Is 204.00:eek: the retail price or the regular street price ? if so,ill wait untill people start dumping them on the for sale section...

That's the discounted price. But as you know BM doesn't go for much discounting off retail. :(

I would use the money for four Buck s30v Vantage Pros. Not a Benchmade fan at all.

I'm interested, but haven't heard raves about the nitrous a/o. Nothing here looks to beat the Kershaw Tyrade available at a lower price.
