Why doesn't anyone like AO? I don't like the Nitrous Assist by BM it's painfully slow but the Axis Assist, as in the Barrage is very fast.

People carry on about the Kershaws and their AO's - what gives?

BTW, I dislike the 710's D2 offering and would love to get it in S30V or 154CM.

Not in a Nitrous Asisst though - too darn slow. I can manually open twice as fast. Not so the Axis Assist.

You guys actually think that's a recurve.

Oh that blade shape... me likes!!!

I like AO's. I love recurves (even ever so slight ones). I will have to save for the 790.

Looks like the 790 is using part of the clip for a lock bar stabilizer.

I most likely will get the new Lum first though.

It sure is pretty but looks a bit slippery on the grips Hard to say from a picture though ay?

+1 on the Sharpmaker rod corners for sharpening that baby. :)

I've had enough with recurves. My 8" benchstones sharpen a blade ten times faster than the rods. I'll put up with a recurve on some models, but not for $200.

It's a pretty thing, but I don't care for assisted open. Pass.
Me either. Nor the recurve. Nor the "holey" handle. Nor the frame lock...
So I'll pass too.

OK then fellas, here is a Lum Design coming out this year. Do ya'll like that any better?
I definitely like those handles better, and the lock too. But the blade?

You guys actually think that's a recurve.
Looks like it to me. Unless it's some distortion/illusion affect of the photo.

While I like the blade shape the assisted open will be the deal breaker for me, I would have rather them bring back the 750 pinnacle in M4 or M2 tool steel, I love that blade..... I will certainly be picking up a 755 and 741...

My 630/635 Skirmish family got company last summer - this past year's Bob Lum Tanto-equipped 760BK-LTi. The Ti framelock is stout and handsome - with a great blade. I hate Tanto's - and I love this lnife - but it took fondling one in person. It will likely take that for this new Ti knife as well. The AO may be difficult to take - my current AO BMs, the 670 & 672 Apparition with the easily removed torsion rod, being fast and sure. It does 'work' on a Kershaw, seems out of place on a BM. Still - I'll reserve my final decision until after I've fondled the new ones.

I like the design, though it has a couple of issues such as the assisted opening and how far the lockbar goes to toward the end of the handle (too close, IMO).

EDIT: Forgot to add Ill probably get one, since it reminds me too much of a refined 750 not to at least try it out.

Sure seems to have a small tang area for the large blade. Must have very small washers. Seems to me it would be too weak in that area.

OK then but ever so slightly!!
And its a very appealing recurve unlike some (Kershaw Shallot comes to mind :barf:)

True, but it's enough such that I can't sharpen it with a flat stone; that's my only beef with recurves. Other than that, I like them.

Start saving the money? Oh I will when I don't but that AO. There's sone savings right there hahah:D I do like the looks of the MPR though.

Titanium Framelock: Top of my list of requirements
Assisted Opening: Cool!
Large Sexy Drop point "Recurve" Blade: Nice!
Tip down clip: m'eh...

Okay, I'd rather have a tip-up clip, but other than that, it's a beautiful knife, and I'll definitely have to have one. Plus, that's a lot o' blade for the handle size. Me likes that!

Now, if it only had a flipper... :D
