Stealth Run #007

Buck has released stealth run #007 which are two new 501 knives. Both have MagnaCut blades and come with either a cocobolo or elk handle. Only 100 of the elk handle knives were made while Buck released 1000 of the cocobolo handle knives. More information on the knives can be found on their web site link. Prices are $149.99 for the colobolo while the elk is $249.99.

I love these. I have the previous Larrin and it is great! I don’t know how I feel about the brass bolsters. Either way, great looking knives.

Maybe I'm dreaming, but did Buck put out the same elk/brass Larrin at Blade Show 2024 ?

EDIT - A little Google-Fu, from Larrin:

"The Buck knife design I worked on, 501 “The Larrin” will have a small number available in a new combination – elk horn with a brass bolster. I am hearing there will be 25 available so I wouldn’t wait too long to get one if you are at the show."

We produced 100 of the elk/brass combination for 2024 Blade Show. We sold through about half at the show and brought them back to include with the steath run.

Very nice 501 options. But still an easy pass for me. Already have more than one 501.

I couldn’t resist, I grabbed one. Now I’ll have three different Larrin 501. I have the one from last year in my pocket and last month I got the elk handled version. This cocobolo/brass version will be really nice! I love em !

Nice looking cocobolo in the first picture.

Maybe a teaser for Stealth #008 - there is scalloped wood (cocobolo ?) under the sheath, and the upper right corner seems to have the same width wood (backside ?). Looks to be about twice as wide as the 501 handles.

I didn’t see the elk one in time but I have the elk/ns version from last years 35th bcci . It cost me a bit more than this brass version. Dang the luck

Whew, I dodged that bullet! I have 2 of the previous stealth run Larrins. I have an EDC and a back-up EDC. Those elk scales 501’s were awfully tempting.

That elk one was pricey. It was $100 over Cocobolo. In the customs shop, elk is only a $75 up charge. It is a moot point because I missed it.

Nice stealth run. I'm good with my two Ebony. I think. We'll see.

I love the clip point. Pointy and useful. But I anxiously await a magnacut drop point too.
