Stealth Run #007

I just discovered that this was available & am tempted to buy one but the blade is 1" shorter than I'd prefer.

Would have been "all in" at 3.75" but at 2.75: I'm still thinking about it . . . 🤷‍♂️

I'm enjoying the Cocobolo 501 that I purchased with a Koa 110 from the National Knife Day run. I've got a question about the 501, though - mine opens smoothly until about 2/3 open, and then it gets pretty stiff. I added some lubricant to the pivot area, worked it a bit, and cleaned it out, and it still takes a significant amount of force to open that last 1/3rd. (Photo below taken where the movement gets stiff.) I'm used to how my 110s swing smoothly across the full range of movement - are the 501s different this way?

I know exactly what you mean. I have the ebony and nickel 501 and it does the same thing you described, but my cocobolo and brass is just as smooth as you find your 110s to be all the way through. It's much more pleasant than the ebony, so much so that I'm thinking about listing it for sale. I like the cocobolo and brass combination better anyway. You could try contacting Buck to see what they say.
