On the website, the elk handled version had the limited edition on the blade. The number made doesn't interest me since I don't collect stuff for that reason. The glasses make me cringe for some reason and I think it takes away from the overall beauty, but that's just me. I also can't stand when 110's and 112's have really big nail nicks...don't know why but it bugs meWait, you're saying the big "limited edition" referring to number of knives in the issue as apposed to a billboard on the blade, right, 'cause I don't see anything on the blade?
I kinda like the glasses, but, I'm passing on this issue. I like the look of this knife, just not going to buy it for several reasons. One, I've over spent and two, I have decided to scale down my buying.

No. That’s thickness in inches. .95 would be just shy of an inch thick. I assume they’re both .11

Thanks for the explanation, I did not see that side of the elk edition because it was sold out when I looked so I didn't investigate any further. I also don't care for the billboard 'Limited Edition'. I have bought a few that have had it and mostly regret doing that.

How sexy is that stag? I'm obviously wayyy too slow.
Kinda hard to pass on a bare head 501, especially the larrin. I'm glad they made 1000 cocobolo so slugs like me can mosey in 2 days later and pick one up. I'd rather have ebony and nickel, but cocobolo and brass is ok too.
I wanted one before and didn't stand a chance. I'm pretty pumped about this. It's gonna be a hard wait for delivery! Lol!
I like the nod to knife steel nerds. He created a hell of a product and buck is doing good things with it.
Now if we can just get buck to make some M.C. spitfires.......

I am usually 100% a nickel guy, but the brass bolsters on this looks really really good with the brushing and the cocobolo.
