I had one in my cart for a while, but I’ve already broken the bank a few times this year so I eventually passed. Nice looking knives, but I also wondered about the 100 up charge versus only 75 in the CS. That and I also figured at that point I’d wait and see if MC shows up on the custom shop 112s soon.
 
Custom shop is an option I considered, but I like the brass and there’s none of that in there for the 501. Still leaning towards taking a pass.
 
Oh man, these look awesome! I have a Larrin from last year that I absolutely love. It's one of my favorite non-301/303 knives.

I'm passing this time around, but these stealth runs are great. Photos when you get 'em!

Ah, that’s something I hadn’t considered. Thanks for the information on that, makes sense.

It wasn’t a factor in my passing on that particular 501 today, just something that crossed my mind when I was considering waiting for a CS 112 in MC if/when that becomes available. That’s definitely my favorite Buck model.
 
Hello all. I missed out on the elk and was considering the cocobolo but I noticed it says that the blade thickness is .11 on the elk and .95 on the cocobolo. Is that the case or a typo, I prefer a thicker blade. Thank you
 
These sure do look great.
I want 420HC (5160 If I could) but I'm probably one of the few people who would buy a special knife and not want a special steel, so it's perfectly understandable.

I'm sure you guys are gonna really love these.

I think that's a typo
 
Ugh that Elk was screaming at me but I held firm since I already have one from the other run.

Wait, you're saying the big "limited edition" referring to number of knives in the issue as apposed to a billboard on the blade, right, 'cause I don't see anything on the blade?

I kinda like the glasses, but, I'm passing on this issue. I like the look of this knife, just not going to buy it for several reasons. One, I've over spent and two, I have decided to scale down my buying. :rolleyes: 🤷‍♂️;)
