Very nice collection! They all look great, but that blue one is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Hi jstrange: This is the Blue set, there is some nice knives in some of the 2003-04 sets.
The blue set is missing the American Flag..Ken

Just ordered my first stockman in a long time, a Case Medium Rancher. Anyone here have any experience with those? I like the looks of it and the CV steel...I wish Case offered more in that CV...

Brett and Meako: Great collections and representatives of the pattern! I like the individual knife choices and handle colors.

Koldgold: Very nice set. Wish I would have had the foresight...

bozak: Great stockman knives! I really, really miss Canal Street. I had the good fortune of being able to attend their first annual open house. Met a lot of great people, including Eric (ea42 here), saw some great knives, came away with a Barlow and a couple of half-moon trappers. Wish I'd had the funds to buy one of everything! Solid, well-made knives in great steels.

My humble 2. I really want to get my hands on a bone handled stockman, but I have not found the right one yet (at the right price). Loving that square end Northfield stockman above. Funny thing is, until only a few months ago, I thought 3 blades on a knife were completely redundant, and preferred single blade modern folders. Now the 4" stockman is quickly becoming a personal favorite to accompany the modern folder.

Old Timer 8OT freebie I restored from being rusted closed. Blades were full, just pitted now, but still solid walk and talk.
Craftsman 4" Stockman flea market find in great condition. Oddly enough I do not like yellow delrin from case, but these off-white handles on the Craftsman don't bother me so much.

Just sold this Buck 307 as it was a little large for me. Nice solid knife though.

Here's a couple of neat "hybrids" from the late '70s, Craftsman branded but made by Schrade. Interesting brass eagle shield and bolsters, with very Buck looking black sawcut delrin covers. #95068 round bolstered medium (3.57") and #95066 square bolstered large stockmen (3.97"). Both like new, but no boxes.

Considering the enormous number of beautiful Stockman Knives in this thread, they must be near the top on a hypothetical "Favorite Knife" poll!

I live about 200km North of you.
This is another Special Order set that did not make it to production.
The bone is a honey brown bone.
Did your blue knives have the etched blades? I may have some of those shields. Ken

I hope every one knows this post was dead, last week. We all had some nice Stockman knives sitting around.I still love the 1966 Buck 301s made by Schrade.

Jake That RR Stockman in Stag looks very decent, nice sunk-joints. Then there's that interesting Cell handled beauty, really whirly stuff plus some serious implements on it:D:D:thumbup:

Thanks, Will
