Beautiful bone! Nice Shapleigh's

I am enjoying this thread! I have my Holy Grail coming this week. A 1950's Schrade 825 unused.

Hi from Australia, CDS.
I have been collecting Schrade knives, since 1973.
When I first started to buy Schrade knives on eBay.
There was a box of 12 new 825s up for sale.
Every time I see that number [825] I kick myself for not buying them.
The winning bid was US$100. Ken.
I think it may have been my obsession to collect 4" Stockman knives.

Ken, every time you share your Schrades I'm blown away all over again. Thanks for taking the time to share them with us. It's incredible to me that you've been able to accumulate so many of these knives, especially considering that you're all the way in Australia. Of course things are easier now with the Internet, but it still shows an incredible level of dedication. Kudos to you, sir.

The top knife below is a four-blade Primble, and the one below it is a rare Schrade Stag!

Hi Cory, you know it's not hard to start me going, about my Schrade knives.

Waynorth, I like your Schrade 8OT with the smooth bone handles.
To date, I have not found any one that can tell me about the early history of the 8OTs
From 1960 to about 1963, some had smooth bone and some had the saw cut bone - I have both types.
I also like "r redden's" knife - second down on the left.
I looks much like the Buck 301, that Schrade made in 1966.
I should change my name to "WAYSOUTH"... Ken

This is the first Buck 301, Schrade made them in 1966.

We don't seem to see Stockman and Cattle Knives as much here as we did a few years ago. I agree with Charlie, it's nice to see this thread again, and there are some great new contributions

I don't have too many, but I am carrying some of them this week. So far I've carried the Boker below...

This TEW in stainless...

Today I'm carrying this Case from 1970...

And tomorrow I'll be pocketing this stainless IXL.

Back in 1973 I walked into a gun shop in down town Sydney, Australia.
That day I walked out of that shop, with my first Schrade knife.
Today, that old 881 is in the top draw of my office, and still use quit often.
In my collection of Schrade knives, I have about 6 or 8 new 881s still in their tubes.
It's nice to have a replacement if I ever need one.
However, I sill like my Old 881... Ken

Very nice collection! They all look great, but that blue one is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

The Buck 703 used to be my favorite Stockman in my younger days. Here's an example of a couple of 703's from what I like to call the "transition" period for lack of a better term.

I don't like to open both blades on the same spring at the same time so the Spey blade is closed on both knives. Anyway, these are both 1986 models. Both 703's. One has three backsprings and the other has two. Also note the different placement of the small blades.

These are great little knives. I need to stick one in my pocket for old time's sake.
