Smooth, deep red-bone handles on a late Schrade USA 8OT, complete with threaded bolsters too. Its an odd-ball I picked up after the closing down of Imperial-Schrade. OH

Lucky you were to get that, looks like a fine carry with beautiful rich bone colour :cool: Lined bolsters are always nice too.
 
Interesting, not wholly convinced by the holes on a multi-blade, OK on a single but it's commendable that CASE is offering choice :cool:

Yeah, the cutouts aren't exactly what I've been used to all these years, but now that I have this one, I see no problem with them. In fact, the cutout makes the sheepsfoot blade pinchable on this particular model. Which I think is a plus.

Not everyone likes the cutouts, and I can understand that. Other than the price increase, I can see no downside to offering production traditional patterns in the newer steels.
