Hi all, just a friendly reminder to avoid dealing with member Stokaboka.
On 2/7/17 I paid for a ZT0770 that was on Tuesday. On Friday 2/10 no knife came in my mail, no big deal I'll get it the next day. It didn't arrive on Saturday 2/11 either. So on Monday 2/13 I email this guy, no response.
I also reached out to another member who bought a knife on Stokaboka's same sales thread. He also has the same issues as me. The seller never provided a tracking # which makes these transactions even more shady. I actually gave Stokaboka until the end of last week to either refund my money (which I asked him to do several times) or get me the knife I paid for. Neither happened, and he still hasn't responded to anything.
Luckily I paid with PayPal goods and I now have a claim against Stokaboka (Michael Malik) as does the other member. Just a heads up, I'll update when anything in this case changes.

all this because of failure to communicate, a sad way to get a bad reputation.

He has 88% on feedback [emoji50]
Feel bad for the folks that appear to have gotten ripped off but at least PayPal should come threw [emoji106]

Expecting your knife to arrive three days after you posted "I'll take it" is probably a little excessive, but within three days you should definitely have some sort of confirmation about it being shipped or when it will be shipped. Sounds like a bad seller.

When I sell a knife and receive payment I try to ship the same day or the following day and handle it as if I was the buyer . I make it a priority to ship asap and it goes at the top of my to do list . Unfortunately there are a few sellers that when they get payed the opposite happens and it's the last thing they do and appears to be a inconvenience instead and drag there feet in the process . No communication when there is a delay is unacceptable in my book . There are the rare occasions I would assume when your in the hospital or loved one / family emergency . Still when you have someone's hard earned money there should be a minute of spare time you would have to reply and explain .
Just my 2 cents and fortunately I've only had a few sellers drag there feet but they did communicate with me which made all the difference .

👆🏼I'm the same exact way. Not to mention it's almost two weeks at this point.

Same here. I'll even often have the knife boxed up and with me, in case it sells during the PO's business hours, so that I can get it shipped out promptly that day. If not the same day, then surely by mid-day the next business day. Good luck resolving your issue, OP.

I agree and do the same, but heck, if I ship literally the second payment processes, it can take four days in the mail to get some places even CONUS, especially if the payment doesn't process or I don't get the notification until late in the day.

I just sent stokaboka a PM with a link to this thread, we'll see what happens.

Nfd538 and Khanvoy44... update this thread when you have recovered your funds, thanks.

Although you have good intentions I'm sure his silence all this time and him being spotted logged in and still not responding to the OP pretty much tells the tale on this one unfortunately.

Actually the last time he logged in was before this thread was started, that's why I sent the PM.

If he logs in again and doesn't respond to this thread, we'll go from there.

My main concern is that Nfd538 and Khanvoy44 recover their funds.

I believe he was spotted logged in according to my sources he was logged in after the thread was posted [emoji6]

Again I know you have good intentions but I can pretty much guarantee the seller is aware of his unhappy buyers if not by his length of silence just alone.

The idea of GBU is to coax an errant brother back to the bargaining table. Hammering him for not doing it the company way may just scare him off.

It may scare off other newbies who don't want to be treated like criminals because they didn't know how we do business.

Not sure who your sources are but according to my computer and his profile, the last time he logged in was at 9:08 AM this morning, this thread was started at 9:44 AM this morning... must be a time zone thing ;)

My source was the person that posted on the beginning of this thread that I multi quoted in response to yours when you stated he hasn't been on since before this thread was made [emoji6]
Regardless carry on and best of luck .
Wishing the other folks a quick funds recovery from PayPal [emoji106]

A delay isn't the end of the world, BUT let me know.
I find when dealing on the Exchange that comms are the most important part of the deal, from both parties.
I don't mind waiting a few more days, BUT let me know. Especially if I reach out to the seller.
Hope you guys get squared away!
Joe

2 weeks is a pretty long delay that's for sure and I believe the fat lady already sang her song .
