Straight edge Traditionals

I am not sure, I didn’t shoot it
😇
But I am guessing that it’s stag, and it has been a while since I have seen any of this company’s work

Many thanks, they're a remarkable and unusual pattern. The early all-steel versions had Coping in front of the Spear, the later brass lined ones put it behind I believe.

Yes they're my favorite pattern and GEC is the best looking in my opinion. I was mainly commenting on the barehead white bone, I didn't know they made those its a beauty. I wish they put coping in front now. The small blade behind is not natural for me.

I ground the spey into a nice sheepfoot on this #39.

And I really like the huge sheepfoot on this Queen jumbo stockman.

rbeggs rbeggs Ah, didn't know you were an enthusiast, but you are absolutely right :D

In the 12 years I've had it, it has mainly lived in the roll. The Greenbone is my user. The Ivory Bone has like the Lick Creek Farmer I own, turned a rich hue in time. Got it out this morning and here's a shot, one of my favourite GECs for sure.

Thanks, Will

Very special keeper right there!

I usually stomp around over in General. I've been finding that there are a couple of threads I can play in, here.

Marble's G. I. Jack. Made in China, if that's a consideration for you. Lives in my lunchbox, for just in case.

Stripping blade on my SAK electrician, featured in other places, as well. Offers lots of control, but the wire stripper portion on the two-blade pattern knives works better in my opinion.

I'm still campaigning for calling them all "modfied wharnsheepsnesscliffmucktantos", because it's something we can all unite behind not liking.
