Straight edge Traditionals

Someone from the post office hacking through cables sounds odd to us here in North America, but I understand that many countries have a PTT Authority (Postal, Telegraph, and Telephone) that regulate all communications services.
I can understand the confusion, even here, some younger knife collectors think the postal knives were for opening letters or something! :D The Post Office existed here a long time before telephones and telegrams, so I think when they arrived they were just lumped in with the mail (maybe they didn't think telephones would last long!). Telecommunications were separated in 1969, and both the Royal Mail and British Telecom are private companies now.
