I love how some people are saying "you're beating a dead horse" when bringing up Strider.

How is the horse dead?

Isn't this lying pos Strider still out there selling knives and isn't the continued success of his knives, how ever much that may be, still driven by an image people have of him, a fake image he created, of his supposed heroic special forces military history combined with all the BS stories he and his buddy Dwyer were spewing for so many years? It wouldn't surprise me a bit to find out Micky was dishonarably discharged.

Collecting knives is our hobby. Discussions about a con man who continues to profit from his con is never beating a dead horse.
 
I sounds like you are assuming many consumers of $400 to $575 production knives are uninformed.

Well, what do you propose as to a solution? I don't like what's been posted or linked to either. The man will keep making & selling knives because he can. So:

Guys, this has now moved way beyond discussing knives, so until someone can provide a reason why this should be reopened...it's time to say adieu to this particular thread.
